Top Family-Friendly Spring Break Travel Destinations

Made for Adventure: Sydney Patterson

With spring break right around the corner, we wanted to give you our top five family-friendly spring break destinations to help you plan the perfect getaway. Spring Break usually falls in mid-March, it’s the perfect opportunity to relax and take the kids somewhere fun after being cooped up all winter long!

We’ve teamed up with travel expert, Sydney Patterson of Sydney Patterson Travel Company to give us the inside scoop on the most popular family-friendly Spring Break travel destinations.

As moms, our lives are so busy, we juggle a million and one things and we live in a world of beautiful chaos. When we get the opportunity to travel, it’s always worth it but sometimes it can be very overwhelming, especially when deciding the best location, budget and accommodations for our families. That’s where SPT comes in! I love being able to take the stress and work out of travel planning and create seamless trips for each of my families. What's my  favorite part of my job? Easy, it's hitting the send button the week before your trip, with the final itinerary and travel details, all you have to do is show up, enabling time for new, forever memories with your precious family.

Top family-friendly destinations:

  1. Turks and Caicos (fav stay, Grace Bay Club)
  2. Cayman Islands (Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman)
  3. Hilton Head, North Carolina ( Montage Palmetto Bluff)
  4. Sea Island, Georgia (The Cloister)
  5. Maui, Hawaii (Four Seasons Maui)
  6. Riviera Maya, Mexico (Grand Velas)

Mom advice:

I love traveling with our 8-month-old son, Porter. People always say "Well, he won’t remember this," it’s not about him remembering, it’s about my husband and I being able to still do what we love (travel) while also getting to see the world through Porter’s eyes. You learn things about one another, you meet people (I loved meeting new people, especially other moms while traveling), you learn to be flexible, and you grow. Plus, I will be able to share pictures of the places he’s been when he’s older. It’s not easy traveling with kids but I encourage families to get out and experience new places as often as they are able to. I’ve never once had a client come back to me from a vacation and tell me they regretted it!

Life is short, take the trip!
